Leadership Team

  • Bernardo Hees

    Chief Executive Officer
    Bernardo Hees is Chief Executive Officer of The Kraft Heinz Company. Prior to the merger of Kraft Foods Group and the H.J. Heinz Company in 2015, Mr. Hees had been with the H.J. Heinz Company since 2013. Before joining Heinz, Hees was the Chief Executive Officer of Burger King Worldwide, Inc., following its acquisition by 3G Capital Management in 2010. Hees also spent 12 years at American Latina Logistica (ALL), Latin America’s largest railroad and logistics provider, serving as CEO and a member of the board of directors from 2005-2010. He remains a partner at 3G Capital. Hees earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). He holds an MBA from the University of Warwick in England and an OPM degree from Harvard Business School.
    • David Knopf

      Chief Financial Officer
      David Knopf is the Chief Financial Officer for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for all finance functions globally. Previously, he served as Vice President of Beverages & Snacks and was the Category Lead of the Planters Snack Nuts business. David joined the Company in 2015 as Vice President of Finance and has been a Partner of 3G Capital, Inc. since 2015. Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, David held Analyst roles at 3G Capital, Inc. and Goldman Sachs. He earned a bachelor’s degree in 2010 from Princeton University.
      • Nina Barton

        President of Global Online & Digital Growth

        Nina Barton is the President of Global Online & Digital Growth for The Kraft Heinz Company. She is responsible for leading all global Kraft Heinz e-commerce platforms, accelerating digital transformation, driving new on-line businesses, and leading the Company’s joint venture with Oprah Winfrey. 

        Nina previously served as the Company’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Innovation, Research & Development. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles with Kraft including Vice President of Marketing for Coffee and Senior Marketing Director where she was responsible for growing the Philadelphia Cream Cheese brand. Prior to joining Kraft in 2011, Nina held numerous marketing and leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, and Procter & Gamble. Nina holds a bachelor’s of Commerce from McGill University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

        • Rashida La Lande

          Senior Vice President, Global General Counsel and Corporate Secretary
          Rashida La Lande is the Senior Vice President, Global General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Kraft Heinz in January 2018, Ms. La Lande was a partner at the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where she advised corporations and their boards, primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private equity deals, and joint ventures. During her nearly 20 year career at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, she represented companies and private equity sponsors in the consumer products, retail, financial services, and technology industries.
          • Eduardo Pelleissone

            Executive Vice President of Global Operations
            Eduardo Pelleissone is the Executive Vice President of Global Operations for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for the Company’s global supply chain, quality, procurement and operations functions. Eduardo joined Heinz in 2013 as Head of Operations. Prior to Heinz, Eduardo worked for 14 years at America Latina Logistica (ALL), where he most recently served as CEO. During his time at ALL, he held roles including Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director and General Manager of Agricultural Products. Eduardo holds an MBA in logistics, operations and services from the Federal University of Rio De Janeiro.
            • Paulo Basilio

              U.S. Zone President

              Paulo Basilio is Zone President of the U.S. for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for leading all functions that drive the $19 billion+ U.S. business. He previously served as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2013 and has been a Partner of 3G Capital, Inc. since July 2012. Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of America Latina Logistica (ALL) from 2010 to 2012. Paulo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidade de Brasilia and a M.Sc. in economics from EPGE/Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV). 

              • Carlos Piani

                Canada Zone President

                Carlos Piani is the Zone President of Canada for The Kraft Heinz Company. He joined Kraft Heinz in August 2015 and is responsible for leading all aspects of the Company’s Canadian business. Previously, he served as CEO of PDG Realty S.A., one of the largest listed homebuilders in Brazil. Piani has a degree in computer science from PUC/RJ (Brazil) and a bachelor’s degree in business from IBMEC/RJ (Brazil). He has also completed the Owner and President Management Program at Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst by CFA Institute.

                • Rafael Oliveira

                  Europe Zone President

                  Rafael Oliveira assumed his current role as Zone President, Europe in October 2016 after having served as the Managing Director of Kraft Heinz UK & Ireland. Mr. Oliveira joined Kraft Heinz in July 2014 and served as President of Kraft Heinz Australia, New Zealand and Papua until September 2016.  Prior to joining Kraft Heinz, Mr. Oliveira spent 17 years in the financial industry. In the last ten years he held a variety of senior leadership positions with Goldman Sachs, a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm.

                  • Pedro Drevon

                    Latin America Zone President

                    Pedro Drevon is the Zone President of Latin America for The Kraft Heinz Company. Previously, he served as Managing Director for Kraft Heinz in Brazil. From 2008 to 2015, Pedro worked at 3G Capital, Inc. in various capacities, ultimately being responsible for evaluating and executing private equity transactions. He has been a partner of 3G Capital, Inc. since January 2011. Prior to 3G Capital, Inc., Pedro worked at Banco BBM in Brazil. Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and Ecole Centrale in France.

                    • Rodrigo Wickbold

                      APAC Zone President

                      Rodrigo Wickbold is the Zone President of APAC and assumed his current role in January 2018 after serving as Chief Marketing Officer APAC since January 2016. Prior to joining Kraft Heinz in January 2016, Mr. Wickbold served in various marketing and business leadership roles at Unilever, a consumer products company, since 2000.

                      • Emin Mammadov

                        President of Global and U.S. Foodservice

                        Emin Mammadov is President of Global and U.S. Foodservice for The Kraft Heinz Company. He is responsible for the Company’s global and U.S. foodservice strategy and growth agenda. Emin’s contributions to the Company have spanned over 11 years and many countries. He joined Heinz in 2006 as Marketing Director for Russia, soon afterwards becoming Commercial Head for Russia. Since 2010, he served as Managing Director, Heinz China Sauces and prior to his current role served as President of Russia, India, Middle East & Africa from 2013.
